The three charged men were identified by police and their attorneys as Brian Church, 20, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Jared Chase, 24, of Keene, N.H.; and Brent Vincent Betterly, 24, of Oakland Park, Fla.

One of their attorneys, Sarah Gelsomino of the National Lawyers Guild, said she spoke with the three and they are stunned.

Reuters has recently reported in their article, “U.S. eyes testy China talks, Chen backer expects Chinese decision,” that “religious and political rights advocacy group ChinaAid is the chief source of information about Chen,” referring to Chen Guangcheng, the “blind activist” who has allegedly escaped from house arrest recently and who “activists” claim is being harbored by the United States in their embassy in Beijing.

Benjamin Freedman gave the speech below before a military organization in Washington, D.C..

Briefly, I will add a word or two about my old friend, Ben Freedman, I consider it an honor.

I was initially introduced to him as a sort of, well you meet a fellow, but I’m not so sure about him -he may be a sort of a Trojan Horse. Well, I said, let me make up my own mind. In the years that have followed, I make up my own mind I spent many happy evenings with him and his wife, Rose, who is not with us anymore. When Ben was over twenty-five -and, as I say, he comes from a very distinguished Jewish family in New York. When Ben moved over into the areas of Christianity with Rose, it took a great deal of courage. “Guts,” is the name in the Marine Corps, for what it took. Ben has been ostracized by many of his friends for believing that this Country had objectives and ideals that did not appear in the minds of some of our alien citizens.

So, it is with great respect and honor, I say, this gentleman is a world scholar in the areas which he will touch upon. It is my great pleasure, as a member of this fine military organization, to present the honorable Benjamin Freedman, of New York.

Ben Freedman:

I am very honored to be here. I don’t know how to start to thank Col. Dall for making it possible for me to address you. But I hope that things work out so that you will feel grateful to him. And if you will try to make a little use of the information I can give you, you may be very helpful in saving this country from the fate which has befallen Great Britain and, maybe the Soviet Union (Czarist Russia). We are in a very serious state at the present time. I’ve just returned, within the last four weeks, from an extended trip in what is known as The Middle East. I am very friendly with the heads of the government, the rulers who know me for 25-30 years, who talk to me and treat me, as a brother. I stay with them at their homes, and we call each other by our first names.

Now, all I can tell you is that what I am going to tell you may not make you feel any more comfortable. But the less comfortable you are after hearing me, the more chance you will exert whatever influence you can to save this country from a fate it doesn’t deserve. After the men I see here get to know their records, what they have done to pull us out of the ditch, once, maybe twice, I don’t think it’s fair to these men to see us now, dragged down into the sewer of history – which is where we are bound to go, if things deteriorate – that really is not the word, – if things degenerate at a more rapid pace than they have been degenerating the last ten or fifteen years.

Now, before I make this talk, I would like to call your attention to one thing. I am going to use a word, you hear the word, you read the word, and you use the word, Jew, as though it is something that could be weighed and felt, has a background. I’m going to use that word, although I never use it in my own personal affairs or in my private life. Now, I want to explain that Dr. Samuel Johnson wrote the first English Dictionary in 1797. That’s only a few years from 1800, which isn’t so very long ago! It consists of two thick volumes. And it has possibly every word that was then used in the English language. I have shown that to many important people in all walks of life, and they were amazed, because when I told them what I am going to tell you now, they didn’t believe me. So I acquired these two books – cost a little money. They’re first editions, rare!

In that book, in those two volumes, the first English dictionary ever published by Dr. Samuel Johnson, (about whom, many of you know) the word, Jew, does not appear! The word, Jew, does not appear! That word was coined, forced on you, stuffed down your throats by control of all the media by the people who are interested in leading you to slaughter. The word, Jew, did not appear. They say Shakespeare used it. They cite all the people who used it. It did not exist. I don’t want to go into that, now. I don’t want to give you a discourse in philology. We have something more important. But I am going to talk about that word, use it; but I want you to know that I never accepted it, and more than, let’s say, the people who refer to artificial silk. Well, artificial silk has certain handicaps. I imported it, when it first came out. It was made in Germany, and it was called artificial silk. And it had a repercussion. People didn’t like to buy something that was artificial anything. So the manufacturers got together and they awarded $25,000 as a prize to anyone who could get up a good word to use instead of the word artificial silk. That prize was won by somebody who coined the word, “rayon.” Today, people talk about rayon as though it existed from the beginning of the world, as though it always existed. “Rayon” is a modern word and the man who coined it was paid $25,000.

The word, “Jew,” was coined for a purpose by the people who got us into two wars, who laid a trap to get us into a third one, and who have practically taken over the control of the world, especially the control of this country according to Senator Fulbright and others. So it’s about time that you learned the basics and did something about it. I am certain that, unless something is done to change the thinking of the 200,000,000 U.S.A. Christians, that this country is headed for disaster! There are 200,000,000 Christians in this country who have been brain-washed, from morning to night, by radio, press, television, motion pictures, every media – the mass information has been used to deceive you into believing things that they knew were deliberate lies and part of their scheme to brainwash you. One of them is the word, Jew!

Now, in the Middle East, you know the situation. The United States has been supplying, since the end of World War II, 32 billion dollars of the taxpayer’s money. 95% of that 32 billion dollars was used by the Congress of the United States, after you paid that money into the Treasury, to make the United States the accomplice, the ally, of thieves and murderers; to aid and abet them to hold on to their stolen loot -territory that they acquired by invading Palestine and driving the indigenous population out of the country that they had inhabited for 2,000 years!

Now you were taught by the Christians; you are taught by your ministers, by your priests, (and Dr. Ellson, here, God bless him, knows how I’ve been fighting, and he did as much as he could, over the years, to make it possible for me to succeed) . . . You have been told that it is your Christian duty to help repatriate God’s Chosen People to their promised land. You have been told that by every media of mass information, including the pulpit, including every other means by which they can shape your thinking: “That it is your Christian duty to help repatriate God’s Chosen People to their promised land.”

Now, I’ll tell you what a lie that is! I can cite the sources here that I’ve consulted, maybe 234 official documents, maps, books, and other records, but the best is one that I found in the last few years, The Encyclopedia Britannica, the 1911 Edition, Volume 15, three pages, define the word “Khazar.” Three pages! Now, that book was published in 1911, in London, and it probably took twenty-five years (whoever compiled that information) to accumulate it. It’s the research of many people. Many of the sources of information are mentioned at the end of the article. But you will find that the Khazars were an Asian nation; they were a Mongoloid, Turko-Finn tribal nation in Asia. And they had so much trouble with the other nations there, who finally succeeded in driving them out of Asia, across the border, into what is known today as Russia, in the area of the Ukraine. They found, there, a lot of peaceful agricultural people, mostly Slavic, and they conquered them. They did the same thing then as they are still doing in the Middle East! They took them, for no reason at all, except the people weren’t trained to fight! They established there, the Khazar Kingdom.

Now, those three pages in that Encyclopedia Britannica, Vol. 15, the 1911 Edition tells you who they are, how war-like, how savage, how barbarian they are, and that they succeeded in sweeping across Europe to the gates of Paris, and to Finland. They controlled all Europe – these Mongols known as Khazars! They did that from maybe the fourth century to the ninth century. And they were the most brutal people. They enslaved these people and exacted tribute from them, while holding them under their control – practically all Europe. Until in the 8th century, a man by the name of Rurik. a Varengian, who came from across the water, from what is known today as Sweden, – he organized these people. They were living as people interested in agriculture. They didn’t want any politics, they didn’t want nations or governments. But he saw what they were subject to, this treatment by their Khazar conquerors. And he organized the principality of Rokh, which became the Russian Empire. He organized them, and started to drive these Khazars back. And he finally succeeded to where they came into Europe for the first time, in the area of the Ukraine, where they continued their Khazar Kingdom.

Now, they were Phallic Worshipers. Anyone who doesn’t know what Phallic worship means, I am not going to go into detail, but they were Phallic worshipers and they were so degenerate that when the king, their ruler, heard that there were such things as monotheistic forms of religious belief, (Christianity, Islam, Judaism) he sent for representatives of the three of them, and asked them to tell him the merits of their faith. And after listening to them, like a child would play “Eenie, Meenie, Minie, Mo” to pick out the one that they favored, he listened to the three of them, and said, “I’m going to become a Jew and adopt the religion known today as Judaism.”

So, he compelled his entire nation, (which at the time had a population of maybe 18 or 20 million people, and extended to the heart of Europe), they had to become members of that religious belief. He sent to two Talmudic centers in the Holy Land, and he brought up religious leaders, (whether you call them rabbis, or what, it makes no difference). And he compelled the 4,000 nobles (they had a feudal system) to adopt that faith and it became the official faith. They built thousands of schools and so-called temples, or places of worship. That is how the people of Eastern Europe became what we know today as Jews.

I have with me, now, a circular that I received in the mail last week, the March of Dimes put it out with the assistance of the Rockefeller Foundation, and they recite the whole thing; because they have found, in recent years, that the Khazars are carriers of a disease that no other people in the world have. Here’s the circular that they got out. It’s called, “Kasak Disease” (The Jewish Disease – Tay-Sachs). I have known about it for years. The New York News newspaper had a full page on it, called “The Jewish Disease.” They explained the whole thing, so I went into it, investigated it, and gave a little money to one or two clinics that were trying to do something about it. The Eastern Europeans, of Khazar ancestry, known as Jews, are carriers of this Kasak disease. When one Khazar marries another Khazar: (I don’t say so, Mt. Sinai Hospital, the Jewish Memorial Hospital, the Rockefeller Foundation, they’ve all done a lot of work on it. They published these figures and these statistics . . .) that one out of four children, when one Khazar marries another Khazar, or of that ancestry, that child can’t live beyond three years. And the death that that child suffers is too miserable to describe to you. Out of the others, two of them become carriers, and one is clear.

Now I have maintained, after listening for twenty-six years to every meeting of the United Nations… (I attend, and I sit there, and I hear these representatives of the so-called State of Israel, talk) . . . I’ve been saying for many years, before I even knew about this, – they must be crazy! How can they say those things before the representatives of 131 other nations? How can they say that? Have they no shame? But, I found out they are suffering from this disease.

So then, to sit there, and tell the world, officially, in the United Nations, that they are God’s Chosen People, and that it is the Christian’s duty to repatriate them to their homeland, when they know who they are -

Now, those are the people that again went on the war-path, and they are now up to their old tricks and have been, because after this Russian Empire expanded, they conquered the Khazar Kingdom, and incorporated the people and the territory in the Russian Empire, and the so-called Jews in Russia, who were then the orthodox Jews, we’ll call them, . . . Russia had become a Catholic country, under Vladimir the 3rd, in 986 . . . they couldn’t get together on anything. Now, what happened? They have been at war ever since. And after the 11th century, when they were conquered, they pledged that they would never accept that conquest, that they would keep on organizing and revolting to again declare their independence and set up their Khazar Kingdom. That was in the 11th century! They have been fighting the Czarist regime, ever since, and I don’t want to go into detail, but I can give you plenty on that subject, and no one can deny it, because I can give you chapter and verse of hundreds of books, maps that I’ve taken, had photostated, all over the world, in the public libraries and museums. Now, you have these people, organized, and all of a sudden, something developed. The last revolt that they started was in 1905. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, under the word, Bolshevism, one of the five rules for their revolt was: Never start until the armies of the country are engaged otherwise. And in 1905, when Russia was at war with Japan, in the Far East, they started their last revolt, – and they were slapped down, like every other one since the 11th century.

That’s where I come into the picture. – I wasn’t alive in the 11th century, though! But, what I am trying to tell you, though, is that in 1905 they took this terrible licking, like, here.

So, we had a President in Washington, Mr. Taft, Mr. Jacob Schiff, of Kuhn, Loeb & Co., the bankers in New York who are the arm in the United States of the Rothschild International world wide plutocracy – Mr. Schiff, with two young men, went down to see Mr. Taft, and he said, “Mr. Taft, . . . (I am not telling you this out of my memory. I almost know this by heart, because the books are here, in the Congressional Library. The people who were in the room with President Taft, at that time, and President Taft were told by Jacob H. Schiff) . . . “We want you to cancel the Most Favored Nation Treaty with Czarist Russia, and we want you to recall our Ambassador.” The President told them, “Mr. Schiff, things are not what you represent them to be. My ambassador tells me differently.” So, Mr. Schiff told him, in so many words, “Is you is, or is you ain’t – going to do it?” When the President said that he would not do it, Mr. Schiff said “We will put a political party and a president in Washington, to whom we can dictate what they should do.”

Jacob Schiff came back to New York (He was at that time head of The American Jewish Committee), and in my father’s home (I was a young man then), in the presence of many prominent men some of whom you’ve heard the names of, he retold the story and I looked at the books in the Public Library, Memoirs of men who were in the room at that time, names that are familiar to many people that are here. That is a -fact. Now, what happened?

They ganged up in New York, to get rid of Taft. I was a protégé of Mr. Bernard Baruch – a name that I think you are all familiar with. His father was a doctor, Dr. Simon Baruch, who had brought me into the world, and Bernard Baruch was a visitor at our home all the time. He courted my sister; one of my sisters. So the stage was set to get rid of the Republican Party and the Republican President and put in their own party and their own President. But it was very difficult, because, after the Cleveland depression (President Cleveland was a Democrat, we had Free Trade) we had the worst depression ever seen anywhere. And that swept the Republican Party into power, because they advocated tariff, protective tariff to protect the working man against the cheap labor of Europe and to protect the infant industries, in the United States against foreign competition.

Mr. Schiff went down there and had this conversation, came back to New York and the stage was set. And I, as a young man, got into the act. What I am telling you now, I saw with my own eyes, heard with my own ears, but I make it brief. The stage was set: “How can we get rid of the Republican Party; how can we get rid of Taft” – and Mr. Baruch was picked out as the leg man. He was a smart man!

They set up the National Democratic Headquarters at 200 Fifth Avenue, which was the site of the old Fifth Avenue Hotel, now an office building, and Mr. Henry Morgenthau, Sr., the old man, the father of the one you all know, was made chairman of the Finance Committee. I was made his confidential assistant in liaison with the Treasurer, who was Mr. Rollo Wells of St. Louis, – the Andrew Mellon of his time. And I was right in the middle! I saw everything that went on, because I handled all the books that had the cash contributions in them. Mr. Jacob Schiff and the Jews (use that word as I told you, with reservations) put up the money to launch this Party, and they looked around for a man to put up as President. To make a long story short, because the details aren’t very interesting, they got Woodrow Wilson, a rascal who wasn’t worth the powder to blow him to hell!

They got Woodrow Wilson, the man who had more ego than any man I have ever read about, they got him to head the Democratic Party. And they got into difficulties! Because the Democrats only got the Electoral votes in the South; where the people in agriculture wanted cheap goods from Europe. But the North wanted the Republicans. They found out they could not elect a President in the United States. So, I handled the money; I was the leg man, the errand boy (I was only a boy then.) They trotted Theodore Roosevelt out of the political “moth-balls” (He was then an editor of a magazine). They told him, “You are the indispensable man. You are the only man who can save the United States.” And with his ego they formed the “Bull Moose Party” and Mr. Jacob H. Schiff and the Jews throughout the world – they got plenty of money from England – they formed the Bull Moose Party. And in that way they split the Republican vote between Roosevelt and Taft, and Mr. Wilson walked in with a minority of the popular vote – the lowest man, (and I knew the inside of his private life, which I don’t want to go into here). But never was a lower rascal in the White House, and I’ve known plenty of them since that time!

Now, Mr. Wilson really didn’t know enough to come in out of the rain! I cannot understand how he ever got there, except that in shuffling the cards, they had the goods on him, You find in politics, every time they pick a candidate, and put him out in front, they have the goods on him. You know he had been sleeping with the wife of the professor who lived next door to him at Princeton, whose name was Peck. And they used to call Wilson, at Princeton, “Peck’s bad boy.” When she got a divorce and moved to Washington, she married a man who had a son. And that son borrowed $40,000 from the bank, without asking them. He didn’t know how to pay it back, and the pressure on him was getting very, very hot. So this woman heard of Samuel Untermeyer (of the big firm, Googenheim, Untermeyer and Marshall) a prominent Democrat; and supplied much money to the party. She went to him with a big package of letters which I read (Wilson was a great letter writer. He knew the language; there’s no doubt about it, Wilson knew his vocabulary, when it came to making love, anyway). So, they cooked this up and she got the idea of blackmailing him. She got Samuel Untermeyer to go to see him, as a lawyer. He was a big contributor to the Party and he knew Wilson, and he went there. To make a long story short, Wilson didn’t have the money; Untermeyer provided it, and the boy paid the money back.

Now, Mr. Untermeyer told President Wilson, “I’ll advance that money if you will do one favor for me. The next opening on the Supreme Court, I want to name the man.” He said, “We’ve never had a Jew on the Supreme Court I think there ought to be a Jew on the Supreme Court.” So Wilson said, ”It’s a deal!” and they paid the $40,000. When a vacancy appeared on the Supreme Court, Mr. Untermeyer recommended Mr. Brandeis. Mr. Brandeis was the number one Zionist in the United States; the head of them all, and he became very friendly with Wilson. And when the war with Germany broke out, the war between England, France, Russia, and Germany and Austria, the United States had nothing to do with it. They all thought England, France and Russia would crush Germany in 60 days. Big headlines in all the papers. I was very active then, in politics, “Boys home by Christmas, Boys out of the trenches by Christmas,” but when Christmas came, the war was getting hot!

The Germans had brought out the submarines, and the Irish gave them two bases on the coast of Ireland, and they were sinking everything that brought food and ammunition to England, which under International Law is correct. Now, when they saw that Great Britain was going to lose the war, the Jews were very much excited, because, up to that time, Germany was their best friend.

In 1822, Germany passed the Emancipation Edict which gave everybody in Germany equal rights; no religious discrimination. Up to that time, every country in Europe had quotas: l%, 2%, 3% to become a doctor, a dentist, a lawyer, a banker, a schoolteacher, anything. Germany, in 1822 passed that Emancipation Edict and all the Jews across Europe rushed to Germany, because they could get an education. They could become doctors, lawyers, dentists, druggists. So, when I was in Germany, 50% of the pupils in German schools were Jews from all over Europe. They all ran to Germany. And they worshiped the Germans

Baline, a Jew, was the head of the Hamburg-American, North German-Lloyd lines. Even the private bankers, the Hohenzollerns, were Jews. The head of the German General Electric Company was a Jew. The biggest companies, – there was no discrimination at all, in Germany. And the Jews had a picnic there, but they were not the Khazars! They were so-called Jews that came into Western Europe with the Roman armies; that came from Judea when the Romans occupied Western Europe, and there were two houses of worship, one in Speyer, one in Lyons, little stone houses, in the second century, which was 600 years before the Khazars were converted. So the German Jews were just as much apart as the Arabs and the Khazars, today, in fact, there was a saying, I don’t know if I can say it in this company, but when I lived in Germany, the Germans said about the Pollocks – (they called them “the Pollocks,” the Eastern European Jews), “Where a Pollock pisses, grass will never grow.” They hated them! They could never allow their children to marry. So, when Germany was winning the war, the Jews were very happy, because they didn’t want Russia to come out the winner, with France and England, because they thought it would be tougher for the Jews in Russia. So, they were all pro-German. What happened? When the Germans trotted out the submarines, – England in August or September, I don’t remember just which week, but General Haig, in London, warned the English, “We have less than two week’s food supply for the whole nation of 55,000,000 people.” The food and ammunition boats were sunk so quickly, they couldn’t get food or ammunition.

So, England was offered a Peace Treaty by Germany. They were offered a Peace Treaty twice! It was on the desk of the British War Cabinet, ready to be signed. It needed only one signature. What happened? The Khazar Jews in New York, Washington, led by Brandeis, made this promise through Fleischman & Sockloff in London. They went to the British War Cabinet and they said, “You don’t have to make peace – which is tantamount to surrender. We can show you how you can win the war, if, when you defeat Germany, and carve up the Ottoman Empire (or Turkey) you will give us Palestine. And they made that deal. It was all written. I don’t say so; Other people don’t say so. The Zionists, in the books that they have written, tell this whole story. How they got the promise of Palestine, by promising to use their influence to get U.S. into the war. That’s how they are going to turn against the United States; the same way they turned against Germany; after everything Germany did for them, since 1822. They made the deal to bring the United States into the war, which meant certain defeat for Germany; which was triumphant, then; offering a peace that was tantamount to surrender.

So, when that offer was made, the Zionists in London went to the British War Cabinet, according to their own books, their own record, in the British Museum. I circulated thousands of copies of this 12 page memorandum by the man who negotiated it. When they were bombing London in 1945, he thought he’d die. And he typed this out, this true story, and gave it to the British Museum for posterity. That’s available. Anyone can have a copy of it. I sent out thousands, – maybe ten thousands of them.

Now, the United States got into World War I. How did they get in? They didn’t know how to get us in, because the Germans leaned backwards. They said, “We are going to do nothing on land, on the sea, or in the air, to provoke or justify a declaration of war by the United States, because we’ll be licked! Now, we’ve won the war!” Which they had. The Russian armies were in retreat; in France, the army had revolted, and wouldn’t fight. There was no more fight left in the allies. So, what happened?

They went to Great Britain; made this offer; Great Britain accepted it. Then the question came, How to get U.S. into the war? They couldn’t get us in if the Germans didn’t give us provocation or justification. So, what did they do? A message was sent to Washington, that the S.S. Sussex, a ferry from Dover to Calais, had been torpedoed in the Channel and 38 Americans lost their lives! I’m not going to string this out, because I’ve got a lot of other things to tell you!

On the basis of the torpedoing, and the loss of 38 lives of our citizens, Congress declared war against Germany. Now, after the 4,000,000 men that General Pershing had been drilling, were on their way over, some of them fighting in Europe – (a lot of you, here, went over, were fighting while this fighting was going on) a member of Parliament and others, who couldn’t stand it any longer, they came out with the secret that the Sussex was not sunk and no Americans lives were lost. And we were in the war! Now that is how the Jews got us into World War I, and that started everything because Wilson was elected. We had a national debt of one billion dollars. And since then it has gone up – I think it’s now 465 billion, after the wars we’ve been having, so that’s how the Jews got us into World War I.

I knew Judge Samuel Rosen who was Mr. Roosevelt’s mentor. They used to say that he didn’t go to the water closet without consulting Judge Rosen. I was very friendly (here’s somebody who will bear me out) – Now, when it came to World War II, we couldn’t get into the war because the Germans said, “When the Americans came into World War I, look what happened to us!” So there was war in Europe again, Germany and European countries, and there was no way to get us into the war. And the pressure of the Jews here, in New York City, Washington, to get into that war was terrific! They didn’t know how to do it. So, as Mr. Tanzell wrote in his “Back Door to War,” (he was at Georgetown University, a professor of history) – I saw, in the Yale Library, the papers of the Secretary of Defense at that time – we were pushed into World War II by Mr. Roosevelt, through the back door! Germany would give us no justification or provocation. But the Jews, here, were putting pressure on Roosevelt, “We’ve got to get into that war! We can’t let him do that to us!”

We had to make up our minds what to do, so the United States sent to Japan, and they said, “We can’t sell you any more scrap steel or oil.” Japan was fighting a war with China; Without scrap steel or oil, which they got altogether from the United States, they would have to withdraw from the war. So they sent nine different Ambassador here, trying to change Mr. Roosevelt’s mind. Ile said, “No, we can’t sell you any more, at all.” So, at that time, Germany and Japan had a treaty; Any country that declared war on either one was instantly at war with both! So, Mr. Roosevelt figured, “We’ll provoke a war with Japan.” That’s why he threatened them to cut off steel and oil. So they sent nine ambassadors here, and, finally, they couldn’t take it much longer, so you know what happened at Pearl Harbor!

Now, Mr. Roosevelt figured, and it’s in Mr. Stimson’s diary, in his own handwriting, which is in the room at Yale Library containing all Mr. Henry L. Stimson’s papers – he was the Secretary of Defense. He wrote in his diary important things that went on (in his own handwriting) and under November 25th, two weeks before Pearl Harbor, he wrote, “The President sent for us to come to the White House. I thought it was to discuss the war in Europe, but he told us that we had to be at war with Japan but he didn’t want it to look as if we fired the first shot!” That is almost verbatim. Henry Stimson, the Secretary of Defense wrote that in his diary. That is how we got into the World War, because Roosevelt said, “We want to be at war with Japan, but we don’t want it to look as though we fired the first shot”! So we got the first shot, alright, at Pearl Harbor! But, the only way we could be at war with Germany was to be at war with Japan. Then automatically, under their treaty, we were at war with Germany. That’s how we got into World War II.

We are now on our way to World War III. The chances are it will be a nuclear war. There is that chance, and I’ve been fighting, (some time and money) so that the conditions would not be set for that. Now, what happened. The Chairman of Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Mr. Fulbright, stated on Sunday morning television program, which according to the advertising services has 28 million listeners; he said, in answer to a question about the Middle East, he said, “You cannot do anything about the Middle East!” He said, “The Senate is controlled by the Jews; 90% of them have subverted the United States Senate, and you cannot do anything” – or words to that affect.

Now, the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the United States, throws in the sponge, says that 90% of the Senate are controlled by the Jews, meaning the Zionists. So, you may now expect the worst! The only way it can be averted, if it can be avoided, is to alert yourself to these facts. All these lies that you’ve been told, “That it’s your Christian duty to help repatriate “God’s Chosen People” to their “Promised Land,” is a lot of hog wash. And we are going to be in another war unless you people and others like you wake up the 200,000,000 Christians in this country who have been so brainwashed that they don’t know whether they are coming or going! They are running around in circles All you hear is “Jesus was a Jew!” I’ve told you now that the word didn’t exist when Dr. Johnson wrote the dictionary, and I’ve done all the research on it. It never existed! And then, again, there is the Father here, who will bear witness. Now, we didn’t ask to come into the world; neither did our children, but we owe them a debt. We owe a debt to these men who sacrificed their lives to save this country, so let’s see what we can do.

PRINCETON, NJ — Americans’ desires for a third political party are as high as they have been in seven years. Fifty-eight percent of Americans believe a third major political party is needed because the Republican and Democratic Parties do a poor job of representing the American people. That is a significant increase from 2008 and ties the high Gallup has recorded for this measure since 2003.

The finding, based on an Aug. 27-30 USA Today/Gallup poll, comes at a time when Americans arewidely dissatisfied with the way things are going in the United States and give relatively weak approval ratings to the president and Congress.

Though the rise in support for a third party could be linked to the Tea Party movement, Tea Party supporters are just about average in terms of wanting to see a third party created. Sixty-two percent of those who describe themselves as Tea Party supporters would like a third major party formed, but so do 59% of those who are neutral toward the Tea Party movement. Tea Party opponents are somewhat less likely to see the need for a third party.

The desire for a third party is fairly similar across ideological groups, with 61% of liberals, 60% of moderates, and 54% of conservatives believing a third major party is needed. That is a narrower gap than Gallup has found in the past; conservatives have typically been far less likely than liberals and moderates to support the creation of a third party.

Independents, as might be expected given their lack of primary allegiance to either of the two major parties, express a greater degree of support (74%) for a third party than do Republicans (47%) and Democrats (45%). Over time, independents have consistently been the political group most eager to see a third party formed. But each party group is more likely now than in 2008 to support the formation of a third major party. At that time, about two months before the presidential election, 38% of Democrats, 40% of Republicans, and 63% of independents thought a third party was necessary.

Bottom Line

Election results in recent years and polls from this year indicate Americans are frustrated with the job the two major parties have been doing. In 2006, voters elected a Democratic majority in Congress to replace the Republican majority, and in 2008 they elected a Democratic president to replace an outgoing Republican president. Polling on voters’ 2010 voting intentions suggests that they may be poised to replace the Democratic majority in Congress with a Republican majority. But that seems to be as much because voters are rejecting Democrats as embracing Republicans.

Given the lack of alternatives, it perhaps is no surprise that Americans’ desires for a third party are as high as they’ve been in at least the last seven years. And while the formation of an official third party is not imminent, that desire may be manifested in voters’ strong anti-incumbent sentiments this year.

On Tuesday, the North Carolina Tea Party Patriots were holding a legal political protest against government bailouts. The Tea Partiers were demonstrating in front of Rep. Mel Watt’s (D-N.C.) Greensboro, NC office.

During what cops characterized as a peaceful protest, an enraged man, later identified as Governor Spencer began to shout vulgarities, disrupted the protest, argued with individuals and then became physically violent.

Governor Spencer then punched the Chairman of the Forsyth County (NC) Republican Party, Nathan Tabor, a North Carolina business owner and a former candidate for the U.S. Congress. 

Investigation reveals that Governor Spencer is a union organizer, a socialist and a black liberation activist. According to political activist Bill Gheen, Spencer led the Greensboro K-Mart protests of 1995 and mobilized families, communities, and “the Pulpit Forum of Greensboro, a coalition of progressive clergy, to commit acts of civil disobedience.”

“The punch to Nathan Tabor’s face in front of his wife and crying child was an assault on all Americans that value free speech and freedom to assemble. We call on President [Barack] Obama to publicly speak out against this violence conducted by one of his supporters against his political opposition,” said Gheen, the president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC).

“We also call on the US Justice Department to file charges against Governor Spencer for violating Mr. Tabor’s civil rights and violating the civil rights of all Tea Party supporters and Americans who wish to speak out against the President without fear of violent reprisals,” Gheen said in statement released today.

Following the assault — caught on videotape — Tabor went to the magistrate’s office with police and a magistrate issued an arrest warrant for Governor Spencer. 

However, a black magistrate rescinded the arrest warrant and issued summons to appear in court to both Governor Spencer and Nathan Tabor despite the fact the responding officer testified he had seen the videos and that Mr. Tabor had committed no assault. Both magistrates refused to view the videos.

Gen. Walt Natynczyk welcomed the new NORAD commander, U.S. Admiral James Winnefeld, who pledged the Americans’ full military support during the upcoming G8 and G20 summits in Toronto.

NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defence Command, is a binational military organization established in 1958 by Canada and the U.S. to monitor and defend North American airspace.

NORAD monitors and tracks man-made objects in space and detects, validates and warns of attacks on North America by aircraft, missiles, satellites and space debris.

Speaking at a press conference in Ottawa Monday, Winnefeld told reporters he was interested in accomplishing two things during his tenure.

The first is to re-emphasize the importance of NORAD — which he called a “very, very important security relationship that is emblematic of the overall relationship between our countries.”

“It’s symbolic of the partnership between our two countries evidenced by our ongoing … international security force, forces in Afghanistan and also places like Haiti and the like,” he said.

The second thing Winnefeld said he wants to do “is really to listen and learn.”

“As the commander of NORAD, I not only work for the United States, I work for Canada and it’s very important for me to listen to the national security team in Canada, to discover what is important in Canadian minds so that it can influence what I do.”

The Tea Party phenomenon has attracted a good deal of both good and bad attention in the media. Though it would perhaps be a stretch to describe it as a movement in that it has only limited organization and focus, it does tap into a genuine disconnect between the American people and the federal government in Washington. Most Tea Partiers claim to want smaller and cheaper government, less interference from Washington in their daily lives, and fewer programs that are intended to socially re-engineer the nation. So far, so good, but then comes the huge failure to comprehend that is as wide as the Grand Canyon. Most also want a strong, assertive national defense and are supporters of an aggressive foreign and security policy.

Tea Partiers have unfortunately been fed a line of hokum by politicians aided and abetted by the mainstream media. They fail to understand that it is precisely the interventionist defense and foreign policies that are driving the bad things they see in government. It is easy to forget that when Bill Clinton left office in 2000 there was a budget surplus. Ballooning defense and security spending since that time, all accomplished without raising taxes, has been the engine of growth for a $13 trillion national debt, a total that increases by $4 billion every day. The United States now accounts for 45% of the entire world total for military spending, euphemistically referred to as “defense.” The Pentagon budget has gone from $432 billion in 2001 to a projected $720 billion in 2011, not including the costs of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Federal Government is twice as big as it was in 2001 and there has been the creation of major new bureaucracies at the Department of Homeland Security and the office of the Director of National Intelligence, neither of which can be regarded as a model of efficiency.

Fueling government growth is the fearmongering that has been artfully encouraged by Democrat and Republican alike. Fear of terrorists, fear of unruly foreigners, fear of the unknown. Fear that unless something is done and more money is spent, the United States will be destroyed by a nameless, faceless threat. The Tea Partiers should instead understand that terrorists will only tear down the United States if we Americans help them to do so. Irrational fear of a small group of men hiding in a cave in Asia is what drives larger government, the infringement of civil liberties, and more taxes and regulation. The United States is on a road that can only lead to ruin. When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 in circumstances somewhat similar to the current American financial slide, a Russian politician joked that his country was somewhat like Upper Volta with nuclear armed ballistic missiles. At the time Upper Volta was the poorest country in the world and his point was that having the world’s greatest missile force did not make up for having a wrecked economy. For the United States to continue its imperialist foreign policy, and there is every sign that it intends to do so, will eventually lead to economic and social collapse.

So how can the Tea Party turn things around? It can only do so by realizing that the first thing that must be done to fix the government in Washington is for the United States to end its wars overseas and dramatically scale back on its international commitments. There is no good reason for Washington to serve as the world’s policeman and many good reasons why it should cease and desist from doing so. Reason number one should be that the US muscular foreign policy has actually been helping the terrorists achieve their objectives. In October 2004 Usama bin Laden said, referring to the economic damage the US economy has sustained in the wake of 9/11, “We are continuing in the same policy to make America bleed profusely to the point of bankruptcy.” The numbers alone demonstrate that bin Laden has succeeded, far beyond his wildest imaginings. Iraq alone has cost $1 trillion and counting, 4400 Americans have died together with as many as 650,000 Iraqis. Afghanistan and Iraq continue to run a tab at $12 billion per month, with 1,086 more American dead in Afghanistan, and global war is expanding, not contracting, as the Obama Administration contemplates increased direct involvement in Yemen, Pakistan, and the Horn of Africa.

US policies also propagate terrorism in the form of blowback. Every diplomat or intelligence officer understands that laws of physics apply in foreign affairs as much as they do in the natural sciences. When you get involved in a foreign country’s internal affairs and take action against individuals or groups the action will result in a Newtonian “equal and opposite reaction.” Push on one spot and something happens, sometimes half a world away. When a man attempts to blow up an SUV in Times Square or ignite a bomb in his underwear on board an airliner it is because the US is bombing and killing in places like Yemen and Pakistan. Stop one and you stop the other. As Ron Paul puts it, they are over here because we are over there. It’s that simple.

And when you put an end to the American empire you can stop writing a blank check every year for the Pentagon, you can stop borrowing money to fund the wars, and you can take sensible steps to reduce the size of government, making it again answerable to the people. As the memory of the overhyped terrorist threat fades, you can even begin to restore some of those civil liberties that have been stripped away by the Patriot Acts, the Military Commissions Act, and the assertion of state secrets privilege.

Is it unimaginable that the Tea Parties might turn in that direction? Perhaps not, though much depends on the extent to which the Republican Party and people like Sarah Palin are able to co-opt the movement. If they do, the revolt will fizzle out and turn into George W. Bush revisited. What is needed is a resurgence of traditional conservatives and libertarians to make the case that it is precisely the disastrous foreign policy that is driving virtually everything that ails the United States today. This might be referred to as shifting the narrative, turning it away from the sense that there is an amorphous threat out there that has to be dealt with and towards an understanding that America’s genuine security depends on a sane and cautious foreign policy that eschews meddling in other peoples’ affairs.

The question is who lit the fuse that exploded on Norton when she attempted to address Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District Republican Assembly on May 21st, 2010? When was it lit, and why, and did it really need to be? Well, maybe the real question is: Will Colorado’s GOP insiders ever again attempt to ram something down the TEA Parties’ throats?

Friday’s 5^th Congressional was supposed to be typically uneventful and the emails preceding it indicated that.  We were to select our Representative to the U.S. House and Doug Lamborn was running unopposed and recently voted the most Conservative member of Congress.

We also had a candidate for the State Board of Education, Paul Lundeen, who was also running unopposed and endorsed by his predecessor.  As one contributor to a liberty oriented email list put it “I don’t see any reason to go to the 5th CD convention.  Unless you like rah, rah sessions.” but I was awake and had taken the time to get myself elected delegate so off I ventured to Loveland, CO.

First a little background, within days of the El Paso county Republican Assembly Jane Norton announced that she was pulling out of the Assembly process and going to get on the primary ballot via the petition process.  A move that would leave her unable to attend the Assemblies in an official capacity, display signage at the events, or address them as a candidate.

This move perplexed many as she had been anointed from on-high, the National Senate Republican Committee (NSRC), and was receiving considerable funding from the East coast establishment.  It is the NSRC that is used to bypass CO’s rules for candidates as the Party can’t support one until they are designated for the ballot or win the primary.  This usually happens at the State Assembly but if more than one candidate gets 30% or more of the vote then there is a primary (held in August) and candidates can’t be supported until after.  (For a more in depth expose of the NSRC see my previous article.)

The NSRC is the good ol’ boys’ back room of the 21^st century.  They are one of the main reason that the average person scratches their head in November and wonders how we got stuck with a particular clown.  I’m not sure what the Democrats call its counter part but I’m sure they have one as evidenced by some of those clowns.

Speaking with Robin Coran, Ken Buck’s El Paso county campaign coordinator, I discovered that her team had called almost all the delegates (I didn’t get a phone call but recently changed my number) and they were leaning almost 75% towards Buck.  Norton would need to get at least 30% at the State Assembly to get on the ballot.  Getting trounced by an upstart opponent when she is the party’s chosen one wouldn’t look too good.  Failing to get 30% would be worse, if that’s possible, as she wouldn’t get on the ballot at all (and it would be too late to petition on).  That is why she likely chose to go the route of petitioning on; after all you can always pay people to stand in front of China-Mart and collect signatures on your behalf.  I suppose that’s what you do when your grass-roots support is really only grass-trimmings: a claim made by someone with no depth of support.

El Paso county is conservative central in Colorado and if she can’t win here then she can’t win.  Boulder and Denver, CO are our counter weight and could be called progressiveville.  If a Democrat wants to win a state wide seat they must take Boulder and Denver by a significant margin.  If a Republican wants to win a state wide seat they must, likewise, take El Paso county.  Norton’s prospects must have looked much more bleak than any of the establishment media let on for her to opt for the petition route.  That said the stage was set for the Assemblies.

The doors to the 5^th CD opened for credentialing at 2:30pm and an agenda and proposed rule packet were handed out along with credentials.  Unnoticed to all but a few, or the one that spoke up, was a change in the rules allowing for a candidate to speak if another candidate for that office was also allowed to speak.  Ken Buck, heavily endorsed by the TEA Party movement, was of course going to be allowed to speak.  That opened the door for Norton to speak under the newly adulterated set of rules.  These nuances eluded me, and most of the delegation at the time, and only became clear after speaking with Kay Rendleman, former Chair of the El Paso county Republicans.

Kay actually attended a gathering of the Ron Paul Republicans back in 2008 and narrowly won the Chair in 2009 with the support of the Ron Paul Precinct Leaders and others voting.  She was an extremely fair and process oriented Chairperson with a depth of knowledge exceeding most members of the party.  Her recent resignation was to take the lead in Ken Buck’s campaign and show her colors, something that was never evident while she held the position of Chairperson.  I would like to thank Kay for taking the time to explain the technical details of Friday’s events to me as this article wouldn’t be complete without them and her insights and thoughts are interlaced with the events below.

As the Assembly got underway it built up momentum as there was no reason to even seat the alternate delegates as nothing was supposed to be contested.  A rah, rah event as mentioned above.  In fact the floor was never opened for discussion of the rules.  Point of Order came a cry from behind me.  I thought great, a chance to see Robert’s Rules of Order in action.

The point was made about discussion of the rules while I’m reading through them and talking to a delegate friend, Chris Nixon, sitting next to me and attending his first CD-5 Assembly.  I was completely wrong in my analysis at the time as I thought he was trying to weasel a speaking slot for Jane Norton.

The Assembly was stopped and the rules reviewed.  His point was soundly defeated.  Not because people wanted Norton to speak but because they didn’t.  At least those that respected the Assembly process.

In hind sight, and with the benefit of Kay’s insight, the mistake the objector made was not first calling for a Point of Information and explaining to the delegation exactly what was going on.  Had the delegation been aware of the rule change and the significance thereof he would have had much more support.

He then could have called for a Point of Order and would have probably been victorious.  Had the delegation been aware of the reasons then those supporting the CO Republican Party rules, and the Assembly process, would have supported him and defeated the rule change allowing Norton to speak.  And quite frankly this would have been preferable to what happened next when former Lieutenant Governor, not really an outsider, Jane Norton did get the microphone.

At this point the significance was crystal clear to many and soon to be to everyone.  A quick glance of confusion towards my newly minted active friend, Chris, he leapt to his feat calling for a Point of Order.  When Chris was ignored by Lisa Taskerud, Chairman 5^th Congressional District Republican Central Committee, he was no longer in participant mode as a delegate; he was on home turf as an agitator.

Chris is also a member of We are Change and quite comfortable taking on the establishment.  Having 30-40 other people in the room, me being one of them, screaming Point of Order at the same time didn’t exactly have a calming effect on Chris.  He looked at me and said “walk out?”  I saw the microphone being taken back by the chair, Ms. Taskerud, and raised my hand as if to say hang on a second to Chris.

When the first words out of Ms. Taskerud’s mouth were something about respect it was all over.  You see Scott McInnis had spoken a short time earlier and although he wasn’t a friend of the TEA Partiers he was shown the respect due a Republican that was going through the Assembly process.  This wasn’t about respect for the GOP by the radicals, it was about respect for the process by the members of the process.  Allowing Norton to speak was about disrespecting the process and back room maneuvering by the power players, those of whom had no respect for the rank and file nor the process.  I looked at Chris and simply said “Go!”

Chris and I turned and started walking towards the doors.  We were not alone.  I called a friend of mine (I think he might be hiding out with “Where’s Waldo?” Bruce somewhere) to explain what had just happened.  After laying out the details he asked how many people left.  “I don’t know, I was one of the first ones out the door.” was my reply.

At this point I realized the mixed blessing of the parking situation when Chris reminded me of the rather large bullhorn he keeps in the car.  The thought of him returning to the Assembly with a bullhorn and calling for a Point of Order is still entertaining me two days later.  That might not have ended well as the Sargent at Arms, I believe the Park County Sheriff, had removed the original protester from the reports I got later.  Then again, perhaps that would have made a better story as I’m sure that bailing Chris out of jail would have involved a camera crew and a hundred of his closest friends with many bullhorns and large signs.  Chris was out of his element inside the party process; standing outside of it and screaming is akin to his back yard.

On the drive home the emails and phone calls started coming in.  Initial reports were fully half of the delegation had walked out on Norton.  Surely keeping her mouth shut and not wielding the big money donors to get a last minute rule change would have been preferable to the events that transpired.  Later reports were as low as a third of the delegation but the statement was made and the effects can’t be repealed.  Norton may be the favorite of the donors but she is no favorite of those seeking to restore the Republican party to a place of honor and respect.

To Kay’s credit, even as someone that plays her cards extremely close to the vest, she thought the events were tacky.  To Ken’s credit, he has a chosen a consummate professional to help with his campaign.  And to Lisa Taskerud’s discredit, she chose to adulterate the rules accepted by the party by making a slight, and almost unnoticed, change to the letter of those rules to enable her, and the anointed one, to violate the spirit of those same rules, and completely disrespect the Assembly system.

I would love to have an insider’s report on the events that transpired prior to Crist’s abandonment of the Republicans, the events of Bennett’s defeat in Utah, and as an ultimate prize, the events that led to the absolute slaughter of Kentucky’s anointed one: Trey Grayson.  I am by no means an insider so let’s call this a participant’s views on the process.  Imagine being a fly on the wall when the power brokers of any of these states met to discuss their failures and the TEA Party’s successes.  Particularly in Sarah Palin’s dressing room.

You see, the rumor all day at the Congressional Assemblies was the purported endorsement of Jane Norton by the Grizzly-Mom, moose hunter herself: Ms. Palin.  All day the subject had come up.  The first day, Friday, was the Congressional Assemblies to be followed on Saturday by the state wide Assembly and Sarah was to speak that evening.  “Was it inappropriate for Sarah to steal the thunder of Colorado’s Assembly process by speaking hours after it ended?”  “Was she angling for a Presidential run and hoping for Norton’s big money donors?”  The questions and speculation flew all day long and the only real fact was that she was speaking.  Well Sarah Palin did speak and she did not endorse Norton.  I’ll leave any further speculation to the reader.

The Republican Party establishment is being exposed and called out at every turn by the TEA Parties so I’d like to conclude with a message for the Democrats:  You clean your house and  we’ll clean ours!

New York Mayor implies Tea Party conservatives behind Times Square car bombing despite arrest of Pakistani man authorities had been tracking as prime suspect for two days

Despite the arrest of a Pakistani-American who authorities have been trailing for two days as the prime suspect behind the botched Times Square car bombing, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg wasted little time in smearing anti-Obamacare activists as terrorists during an appearance on CBS News last night, implying that the attack was the work of a Tea Party activist.

“If I had to guess 25 cents, this would be exactly that, somebody who’s homegrown, maybe a mentally deranged person or someone with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something, it could be anything,” Bloomberg told Katie Couric.

Without knowing the full explanation behind the motivations of the man arrested in connection with the bombing, it seems unlikely to us that a man of Pakistani origin named Faisal Shahzad would have much to do with conservatives or Tea Party activists, which makes Bloomberg’s smear all the more insidious.

Authorities had been tracking Shahzad as the prime suspect for two days before his arrest at JFK Airport, after they discovered it was he who bought the 1993 Nissan Pathfinder from a Connecticut man about three weeks ago.

Bloomberg had to be aware of the fact that the prime suspect was a Pakistani and not a stereotypical white American anti-Obamacare activist, so why even invoke health care as a potential motivating factor behind the botched attack?

As Kurt Nimmo reported yesterday, before the identity of the culprit behind the bombing had even been hinted at, so-called “progressive” blogs and statist news websites staunchly pushed the explanation that the attack was planned by Tea Party conservatives and opponents of big government.

“It may be that the Pakistan-based Taliban, the Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has quietly established a Connecticut franchise while we weren’t looking,” wrote The Nation’s Robert Dreyfuss. “That’s possible. But it seems far more likely to me that the perpetrator of the bungled Times Square bomb plot was either a lone nut job or a member of some squirrely branch of the Tea Party, anti-government far right. Which actually exists in Connecticut, where, it seems, the car’s license plates were stolen.”

The white guy caught in a video and suspected of placing the “bomb” with its toy clock “looks like your typical Tea Party radical,” wrote Gather.

“General consensus is that the perpetrator was a white 40 year old male Christian card carrying member of the Tea Party crowd,” declared The Political Jungle blog.

Corporate media outlets incessantly hyped video footage of a white man in his 40’s removing his shirt near the scene of the incident, presumably to play up the contrived smear that Tea Party activists and conservatives are violent domestic terrorists. Now we learn investigators have “backed off” this lead to focus solely on a Pakistani connection. Expect the idiots who smeared peaceful Americans as terrorists on a whim to also back off quietly with their tails between their legs as their drivel is debunked by the fact the prime suspect likely has nothing to do with the Tea Parties.

Authorities were initially confident that there was no foreign involvement in the bomb plot, but the Pakistani connection now opens a window of opportunity for the Obama administration to not let a good crisis go to waste, as Rahm Emanuel would advise, and use the incident as propaganda for the war on terror and an expansion of predator drone attacks inside Pakistan which have already killed hundreds of innocent civilians each year, with Obama’s intensification of the attacks leading to 90 per cent of all fatalities being innocent men, women and childrenwith no connection to the Taliban or Al-Qaeda whatsoever.

Tens of thousands of people across the Bay Area turned out in protest of Arizona’s tough new immigration law. The demonstrations went on all day and some stretched into the night.

In San Jose, thousands of marchers headed to an evening rally at city hall. In San Francisco, a separate demonstration wrapped up in the afternoon, but not without a bit of trouble.

Three people were attacked and at least two others were arrested. The people assaulted were part of the Minutemen demonstration, a group in favor of Arizona’s new immigration law.

They said a large group of immigrants’ rights supporters followed them to the BART station on Market Street and started punching and kicking them, and calling them names.
