ROD BLAGOJEVICH UNCENSORED

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich held a book signing at Columbia College this week, promoting his new book, The Governor. He also participated in a debate for the Cinema Slapdown series hosted by the College. Members of We Are Change Chicago were on hand to watch the 1964 film Viva Las Vegas, the debate between the former governor and Dan Rybicky, and then most importantly speak with the Governor.

The mainstream media was present, the panel included: ABC, WGN, NBC, FOX, CBS, Chicago Tribune, and Chicago Sun Times. Again, the media made an epic fail by not covering or bringing up issues that actually matter. As we have seen in the past year, the media has only tried to bad-name his credibility, poke fun at his hair, call him names, or criticize his personal life. We Are Change, with the intention to provide the American people with the TRUTH, talked to Governor Blagojevich about his resistance to big banks, which is what really led to his arrest.

The series of events was put best by Kurt Nimmo of InfoWars, below is a section of the article:

Isn’t it odd that Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is suddenly arrested on corruption charges the day after he announced he is asking all Illinois government agencies to suspend business with Bank of America?

Not really. Blagojevich’s arrest sends a strong signal that going up against the banksters will not be tolerated. “Blagojevich contended that Bank Of America received a multi-billion dollar bailout from the government and should accordingly restore credit to the Republic Windows & Doors company in Chicago,” writes Katharine Zaleski for the Huffington Post.

Last week the workers of Republic Windows & Doors occupied a factory in Chicago after the company closed down and stiffed the workers. “Workers said they were entitled to be given 60 days notice of the closure of the plant and demanded pay for that period as well as any unused vacation time,” the BBC reported.

Blagojevich demanded the Bank of America take “some of that federal tax money that they’ve received and invest it by providing the necessary credit to this company so these workers can keep their jobs.”

After getting the Governors remarks about Bank of America’s involvement with this scandal, we handed him a copy of Alex Jones’ latest film, Fall of the Republic: The Presidency of Barack H. Obama, which, according to InfoWars, “documents how an offshore corporate cartel is bankrupting the US economy by design. Leaders are now declaring that world government has arrived and that the dollar will be replaced by a new global currency.”

We also spoke with the Governor Blagojevich about Governor Jesse Ventura’s latest TV show, Conspiracy Theory. One of the most recent episodes covers the false flag attack that occurred on September, 11, 2001. In an attempt to educate Governor Blagojevich on the cover-up, we handed him a copy of the scientific report that reveals that military grade Nano-Thermate was found in the dust of the World Trade Centers.

Finally we talked to the Governor about the recent Climate-Gate scandal, and handed him a copy of The Great Global Swindle, an excellent documentary film by Martin Durkin, that reveals the hoax of the Global Warming phenomenon.

The banksters may believe that they have all the power in the world, but they should never forget the truth is on our side. Through support for Rep. Ron Paul’s, H.R. 1207 and S. 604, an audit to the private Federal Reserve, we can defeat the corruption they have shadowed our nation under. The second peaceful and non-violent American revolution of ideas has begun. Keep resisting the New World Order, and BE the change you wish to see in this world!

Final Copenhagen Text Includes Global Transaction Tax

Obama set to bypass Congress and approve massive transfer of wealth to world government

Final Copenhagen Text Includes Global Transaction Tax 181209top

The final Copenhagen draft agreement which was hammered out in the early hours of Friday morning includes provisions for a global tax on financial transactions that will be paid directly to the World Bank, as President Obama prepares to bypass Congress by approving a massive transfer of wealth from America into globalist hands.

As Lord Monckton, Alex Jones and others warned, the notion that the globalists would achieve nothing at Copenhagen has likely been a ruse all along. The elite look set to ram through the lion’s share of their agenda, which would include a massive global government tax at a cost of at least $3,000 a year for American families already laboring under a devastating recession, double digit unemployment and a reduction in living standards.

Hillary Clinton arrived yesterday to rally global leaders around a resolution and Barack Obama is set to be portrayed as the savior of the world by rescuing what was pitched all along as a conference doomed to fail.

“The summit “hangs in the balance,” said Obama this morning. “We are running out of time. The time for talk is over. It is better for us to act than to talk. The question is whether we move forward together or split apart.”

The final agreement may not force countries to meet CO2 emission targets, but it will grease the skids for the biggest tax hike in human history, a fact that establishment media outlets have completely failed to emphasize.

Monckton told the Alex Jones Show last week that the initial secretive draft version of the Copenhagen agreement represented a global government power grab on an “unimaginable scale,” and mandated the creation of 700 new bureaucracies as well as a colossal raft of new taxes including 2 percent levies on both GDP and every international financial transaction.

Monckton said that the new world government outlined in the treaty would be handed powers to, “Tax the American economy to the extent of 2 percent GDP, to impose a further tax of 2 percent on every financial transaction….and to close down effectively the economies of the west, transfer your jobs to third world countries.”

As the leak of the Danish text outlined, such taxes, earmarked as “climate financing,” will go straight into the coffers of the IMF and the World Bank. These funds will be used to bankroll the imposition of global governance that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon promised would be achieved at Copenhagen.

According to the latest news out of Copenhagen, the taxes that were included in the initial text are still in the final agreement which is set to be passed later today or in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that the final text, “Proposes a range of innovative mechanisms for raising the money, ranging from a tax on air and sea transports fuels to a tax on financial transfers.”

This would form part of an initial commitment of $US10 billion a year from 2010 to 2012, climbing to $US50 billion annually by 2015 and $US100 billion by 2020, although these figures will inevitably increase if the UN ramps up its climate fearmongering as it has done at each successive climate conference since the Rio Earth Summit in 1992.

The treaty outlines, “Penalties or fines for non-compliance,” in developed countries and the creation of an international police force to “enforce its will by imposing unlimited financial penalties on any countries whose performance under this treaty they don’t like,” Monckton told the Alex Jones Show, saying that it amounted to a total global government takeover on an “unimaginable scale”.

“We’re looking at a grab for absolute power and absolute financial control worldwide by the UN and its associated bureaucracies and 700 new bureaucratic bodies,” said Monckton, adding that if the agreement was signed by Obama, the U.S. would be losing its freedom to a “sinister dictatorship” being formed under the contrived pretext of global warming.

Congress to probe ‘US funding of Taliban’

US may be ‘unintentionally involved in vast protection racket’: Tierney

Troop surge could backfire if it means more cash for insurgents

A House committee has launched an investigation into claims that US military contractors in Afghanistan are paying the Taliban to guarantee the safety of their transportation convoys, an allegation that could mean American taxpayers are indirectly funding the insurgency that has killed more than 900 American soldiers so far.

“Serious allegations have been [made] that private security providers for US transportation contractors in Afghanistan are regularly paying local warlords and the Taliban for security,” said Rep. John Tierney (D-MA), chairman of the Subcommittee on National Security and Foreign Affairs. “After a preliminary inquiry, it has been determined these reports warrant a full-scale subcommittee investigation.”

Tierney said that if the allegations are proven to be true, “it would mean that the United States is unintentionally engaged in a vast protection racket and, as such, may be indirectly funding the very insurgents we are trying to fight.”

Allegations that contractors are resorting to bribing insurgents to guarantee their safety first came to light in an article in The Nation last month. Aram Roston reported:

Welcome to the wartime contracting bazaar in Afghanistan. It is a virtual carnival of improbable characters and shady connections, with former CIA officials and ex-military officers joining hands with former Taliban and mujahedeen to collect US government funds in the name of the war effort.

In this grotesque carnival, the US military’s contractors are forced to pay suspected insurgents to protect American supply routes. It is an accepted fact of the military logistics operation in Afghanistan that the US government funds the very forces American troops are fighting. And it is a deadly irony, because these funds add up to a huge amount of money for the Taliban.

“It’s a big part of their income,” one of the top Afghan government security officials told The Nation in an interview. In fact, US military officials in Kabul estimate that a minimum of 10 percent of the Pentagon’s logistics contracts–hundreds of millions of dollars–consists of payments to insurgents.

Several days after the Nation report, the Financial Times reported that “Taliban fighters have turned NATO’s huge logistics chain into a big source of funds by extorting money from hauliers and kidnapping their drivers for ransom, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, the companies say.”

The FT said the bribery problem is adding to a growing “war economy” in Afghanistan, and may in fact cause President Obama’s Afghan troop surge to backfire because it will give insurgents more targets for extortion:

The militants’ ability to prey on supply lines on both sides of the border shows how the Afghan conflict fuels a self-sustaining war economy in which the boundaries between insurgency, organised crime and banditry are blurred.

Although the amount gleaned from transporters is smaller than the Taliban’s multi-million-dollar income from the opium trade and donations from supporters in Gulf states, any big increase in US troop numbers will provide more convoys to target. “The more trucks there are, and the more roads that are in use, the more opportunities there are for extortion,” a US official said.

The House subcommittee has requested documents from the Pentagon and from eight principal contractors involved in the Host Nation Trucking program, a $2.1-billion initiative that coordinates US military supply lines in Afghanistan, allowing for the shipping of everything from food and water to fuel and ammunition.

A number of progressive activists and politicians have pointed to the allegations of bribery as a sign that the war effort in Afghanistan is misguided. Last week, House Rep. Dennis Kucinich described the alleged schemes as a “racket.”

“US contractors are paying US tax dollars to the Taliban in order to protect the delivery of US shipments of US goods to US soldiers so that our soldiers can fight the Taliban,” Kucinich said, starkly illustrating the implications of the bribery claims.

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon Admits That The Climate Change Treaty Will Be Enforced By Global Government

Friday, December 18th, 2009

United Nations General Secretary is publicly admitting that the worldwide climate change treaty will be enforced by global government. Up until now, many have dismissed reports that the treaty being discussed in Copenhagen would represent a giant step towards world government. However, when the head of the United Nations tells an interviewer for the Los Angeles Times that “we will establish a global governance structure to monitor and manage the implementation of this”, what are we all supposed to think?  In fact, a former official in the Thatcher administration, Lord Christopher Monckton, has seen a draft of the treaty being discussed and he says that it creates 700 new bureaucracies which will implement and enforce the provisions of the climate change treaty.  These bureaucracies will have power to enforce the new world environmental laws that supersedes the authority of national governments around the world.

Fortunately, it appears that a formal treaty will not be signed in Copenhagen.  However, Ban Ki-Moon is hopeful that a “binding political deal” will be signed.

So what is the difference between a “treaty” and a “binding political deal”?

That is a good question.

Ban Ki-Moon put it this way during his interview with the Los Angeles Times in response to a question of whether or not a political deal in Copenhagen is still possible….

We need to have a very strong, robust, binding political deal that will have an immediate operational effect. This is not going to be a political declaration, just for the sake of declaration. It is going to be a binding political deal, which will lead to a legally binding treaty next year.

However, Ban Ki-Moon does expect a final climate change treaty to be signed by mid-2010.

What most people do not realize is that the treaty being discussed in Copenhagen will institute new world taxes which would transfer wealth from ”rich nations” as payment for the “carbon debt” that we have accumulated.

Ban Ki-Moon also commented on this during his interview with the L.A. Times….

Developed countries have political and moral responsibilities, therefore they have to do more, first of all by coming out with ambitious targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and they should be prepared to provide financial support.

We have pretty good agreement on short-term, fast-track financial support in the order of $10 billion for the coming three years. When we agree on a politically binding agreement, this will have immediate operational effect, including financial support from next year.

This financial support will reportedly be ongoing for the life of the treaty.

So when will the treaty end?

Can the United States ever get out of it?

Well, reports from those who have seen the draft treaty indicate that the only way a nation can leave the treaty is if every single other nation agrees.

Now, if “developing nations” are receiving large payments from the United States every single year, how likely do you think it is for every single one of them to vote to allow the U.S. to leave the treaty?

The truth is that the treaty is structured so that the United States would be committed to it forever.  According to the draft treaty being considered, no future president or Congress would be able to do anything to get the United States out of the treaty.  The only way to get out of it would be a unanimous vote from every single one of the other nations.

This is the kind of deal that Barack Obama wants to lock the United States into.

What a nightmare.
